Life Skills and Transition Center - Grafton, ND - Social WorkerAs a Social Worker, you will provide support to people receiving services at the Life Skills & Transition Center, including those in the Youth Transition Services. Services include psychosocial assessments, individual, group, and family therapy, admission and discharge planning, and consultation. In addition, this role includes supporting the agency outreach mission for discharge planning and admission prevention.To thrive in this position, you must be proficient in use of a computer, as well as possess good time management and organization skills. The Ward County Human Service Zone Family Services Department serves to ensure the safety, permanency and well-being of children and families in our community. Ward County Human Service Zone is seeking to fill a Family Services Supervisor - In Home position (51-5153) at the Minot Office. This position description is applicable to all Child Welfare Supervisors in the Child Protective Services, In-Home Case Management Services, Direct Care Associate / Parent Aide Services, and Foster Care Case Management Services program areas. All supervisory positions are Exempt and are not eligible for overtime or accrual of compensatory time. The purpose of this position is to provide full program oversight, supervision, and training of staff regarding all Child Welfare programs. Oversight includes personnel management and building stakeholder relations. Oversight also includes policy expertise to ensure implementation, monitoring, and consistent application of NDCC Chapters 50 and 27, relevant ND DHHS program policies, and the ND Safety Framework Practice Model (SFPM). Policy application is crucial to all program processes and successful daily operations. This Family Services Supervisor position maintains responsibilities of a highly complex and sensitive nature and requires a high degree of knowledge, skills, and passion in child welfare.
