Lake Region Human Service Center - Devils Lake, ND - Functional Family Therapist **Sign on Bonus up to 2 months' salary** This position is eligible for a 9% pay differential in addition to the base salary.There are two separate positions. These positions will be working with families all throughout Region III (covering the counties of Ramsey, Rolette, Benson, Cavalier, Towner, and Eddy), so the location of the position can be negotiable as long as there is willingness to travel throughout the entire Region.As a Functional Family Therapist, you will provide evidence-based services to families with youth ages 11 through 18 years old who are at risk or have been referred for behavioral or emotional problems. The Functional Family Therapy (FFT) model is designed to empower youth and families by creating strength-based behavior change that will be sustained long after treatment ends.This rewarding career works with adolescents and their families by tailoring services to the individual family using treatment protocols, case management, crisis intervention, community outreach and in-home services. You will function as part of an FFT team and will participate in weekly team supervision and consultation from FFT trained clinicians. As noted previously, this position will be located within Region III and may be eligible for hybrid or in-office/remote work. Typical work schedule includes evenings and the ability to be flexible to meet the scheduling needs of families. Most therapists can build their full-time schedules around their caseload to create an alternate work schedule leaving time for family, schooling, or self-care. We also offer flexibility for classes, internship possibilities within our organization, and the availability for licensure supervision.To thrive in this position, you should be comfortable working with adolescents and families, using cultural responsivity and trauma informed practice. You should also have effective interpersonal and relationships skills and be able to individualize program interventions to utilize adolescent/family strengths. To be considered for this position, you must have one of the required degrees/licensures:A master's degree in counseling, or any other master's degree approved by the North Dakota Board of Counseling Examiners, and ND licensure as an LPCC (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor); LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor); or LAPC (Licensed Associate Professional Counselor).A master's Degree in Social Work and ND licensure by the ND Board of Social Work Examiners as an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker); LMSW (Licensed Master Social Worker); or LBSW (Licensed Baccalaureate Social Worker). If licensed as an LBSW you will also be required to have two years of professional human services work experience as a social worker, human relations counselor, developmental disabilities case manager, mental illness case manager, vocational rehabilitation counselor, activity therapist, addiction counselor, registered nurse, employment counselor, or a similar professional level position in the public or private sector. A master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy by the ND Board of Marriage and Family Therapy and licensure as an LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist).OR a Doctorate in Psychology and licensure as a Psychologist by the ND Board of Psychologist Examiners. This position requires a valid driver's license and successful completion of the assigned defensive driving course during new-hire orientation. Lake Region Human Service Center - Rolla, ND - Emergency Services Afternoon/Night Position**May consider a sign-on Bonus for qualified applicants**Be part of the solution to the behavioral health crisis. As a team member for ND Department of Health & Human Services, you will ensure the most vulnerable have access to a high-quality healthcare system in which prevention works, treatment is effective, and people recover.In this Emergency Services position, you will conduct crisis stabilization or therapeutic intervention, provide supportive therapy to mitigate crisis situations, develop safety plans for individuals at risk, and assist individuals in obtaining appropriate services, either within or outside agency. You will also coordinate social detox/crisis residential placements and admissions to the North Dakota State Hospital. This position also provides support to the other regions as needed via telehealth platforms. Schedule will primarily be afternoons and evenings during the work week (M-F) but can be negotiable if needed. This position is eligible for a 17% crisis shift differential in addition to the base salary. The salary range that is advertised reflects this increase. With this position, services are delivered by trained and certified individuals in mental health or substance use recovery that promote hope, self-determination, and skills to achieve long-term recovery in the community. With the support of an interdisciplinary team, you will assist with completing and implementing service plans, provide outreach services and engagement opportunities, promote wellness and community involvement, and increase natural supports for service users. Peer Support Specialists will also assist with crisis response. Peer Support Services are community-based. Work will be done primarily in the individual's home and community.
