Duties and Tasks

Work involves assisting dentist in providing dental care to residents in the North Dakota State Penitentiary. Because secure correctional facilities are the workplace, additional duties will require dental office security to include instrument, chemical and needle counts and maintaining an accurate log of supplies and instruments for inventory. Some day travel between DOCR correctional facilities may be required.

Minimum Qualifications

Required current certificate in dental assisting, registered dental assistant with the ND State Board of Dental Examiners, and prior dental assistance work experience.
