North Dakota State Hospital - Jamestown, ND - Accredited by The Joint Commission The North Dakota State Hospital located in Jamestown is seeking a staff Psychiatrist to join our 20-member clinical staff. NDSH is a Joint Commission accredited and Medicare certified hospital with an approximate bed count of 300 adult psychiatric, chemically dependent and secure service populations. Maintain a cost-effective and efficient care delivery model to ensure a community standard of healthcare for the residents of JRCC.Maintain financial records, oversee inventory, and prepare budget proposals.Provide daily ongoing supervision and direction to JRCC medical department staff.Maintain legal and ethical standards within the JRCC Medical Department.

Minimum Qualifications

Requires an unencumbered licensure as a Registered Nurse through the North Dakota Board of Nursing.At least three years administrative nursing experience or three years correctional nursing experience.Knowledge of legal and ethical aspects of nursing and related practice.Ability to cover a shift as a Charge RN when needed.
