As a Financial Systems Analyst within the OMB Fiscal Division, you will leverage your comprehensive understanding of financial systems and expertise in business processes to manage the accounts payable, procurement card, and travel and expense functions for the state's ERP (PeopleSoft) application. You will provide responsive and knowledgeable guidance to OMB stakeholders and other agencies and assist in overseeing the state-wide procurement card program. Key Responsibilities:Support system end-users in daily business operations from a financial systems advisory perspective.Offer analysis and business solutions regarding accounts payable, procurement card, and travel and expense processes and procedures to stakeholders and agencies.Clarify and interpret configuration details, propose business process changes when appropriate, and stay updated on emerging technologies.Assist state agencies, political subdivisions, and higher education entities with all state-wide PCard Program related matters. To succeed in this position, you will need to be a clear communicator and adept in thinking critically to explain business concepts and practices. You must be highly organized while working independently and able to manage your time and priorities effectively. You must be skilled in working collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders in completion of your responsibilities. To be considered for this role, you must have a bachelor's degree with a major in accounting, business, or finance and two years of professional-level work experience in an accounting or analyst role. Location: Remote in North Dakota Hiring range: $5,120-$7,000 per month Working with the Office of Management and Budget: The North Dakota Office of Management and Budget (OMB) is responsible for providing innovative leadership and support to state government.
